Ineos has carried out a six-month feasibility study into whether or not they can build a replacement to the Defender. This could be great news for the diehard fans of the more traditional ideal of the original Defender...
It plans to set up a new division, called Ineos Automotive and has been reported to say that they will spend “many hundreds of millions” on developing a 4x4 vehicle that could fill the gap in the market left by the Defender, which has been discontinued by JLR.
Fingers crossed they will, and it will be more secure than the current Defender!
